Arrest Made in Sexual Assault of a Minor

On Friday, Jan. 9, the Richmond Police Department arrested Richard L. Davidson, Jr., 47. He is charged with taking indecent liberties by custodian. The victim is known to the suspect.

Davidson, a Richmond Police officer with the rank of officer, has been with the department since Jan. 3, 2011. He is currently on leave without pay.
