Victim Identified in Fatal Collision on Chippenham Parkway

Yesterday at approximately 4:42 p.m., Richmond Police Department officers were called to Chippenham Parkway, south of the Huguenot Road interchange, for the report of a three-vehicle collision. Officers arrived and found a vehicle traveling northbound had crossed the median and collided with two vehicles which were traveling southbound.

An adult female and two males, drivers and sole occupants of the vehicles, were transported to a local hospital with injuries that were considered life threatening. The female succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. She has been identified as Tiana Baker, 31, of Chesterfield County.

The RPD Crash Team responded and are investigating the cause of the collision. At this time, charges have not yet been placed. The investigation continues.
