Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify another
man in the picture who is suspected of
stealing packages from porches.
At approximately 6 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, the suspect was
captured on home security video taking a package from a porch of a home on
North Boulevard. He is described as a black male wearing dark pants, a blue
jacket and flip flops. The video shows him leaving the area on foot.
Detectives ask anyone with any information about this person to call
Third Precinct Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010 or call
Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using
the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are
anonymous.
Detectives suggest not having packages delivered to your home when you
are not available to receive them. This creates an opportunity for someone to
steal your parcels. Detectives suggest having packages delivered to your place
of business or to a trusted neighbor.
