Suspect Wanted in Lucky’s Convenience Store Robbery


The Richmond Police Department needs the public’s help identifying and locating the man who robbed the Lucky’s Convenience Store at 418 Cowardin Ave. at gunpoint on April 15.

Around 11 p.m. last Thursday, a man walked into the store with the lower half of his face covered by a sweatshirt. He displayed a gun and demanded a store employee give him money from the cash register.

The robbery suspect is a black male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 to 190 pounds. He wore dark, possibly denim, clothing and a light brown baseball cap. Photos from store surveillance video accompany this advisory.
