Richmond Police has identified the three victims in two separate homicide incidents yesterday.
In the first incident, shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, Richmond Police responded to a residence in the 800 block of North 35th Street for a report of two persons down. Officers arrived and found Edward Lee Bowmer Jr., 60, and Robin Sheryl Clapp, 56, deceased inside a residence. Both had been shot.
Bowmer lived at a residence on North 35th Street. Clapp lived in the 7000 block of Brooks Hollow Parkway in Mechanicsville.
Neither of the homicide victims is related to 2-year-old Kaiden Burnside, who was abducted from the homicide scene when a suspect fleeing the residence stole the vehicle Kaiden was in. Kaiden was later found by police unharmed inside the stolen vehicle near the 1800 block of Jennie Scher Road.
Jamal Louis Clemons, 27, of the 700 block of North 35th Street is still wanted for abduction, three counts of robbery, three counts of robbery with a firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony by a convicted felon. He is considered armed and dangerous.Clemons is a black male, approximately 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and baggie blue jeans. He has a full beard.In the second incident, Richmond Police received several calls around 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, for random gunfire in the vicinity of the 3500 and 3600 blocks of Meadowbridge Road.
Officers investigating the calls found Ryshawn Maurice Jackson, 19, of the 3500 block of Meadowbridge Road with gunshot wounds. Jackson was taken to VCU Medical Center, where he later died.
The investigation continues as detectives canvass the Highland Park neighborhood for information to determine a suspect and motive in this homicide.
