The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of
a homicide that occurred Friday evening along Laurelbrook Drive.
Around 5:12 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of
Laurelbrook Drive for a report of a person down. They located the body of Lakeith
D. Hurd, 19 of the 9800 block of Proctors Road in Chesterfield County, in a
grassy area on the side of the road.
The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of
death.
