Victim Identified in N. 26th Street Homicide

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in Monday’s homicide on N. 26th Street as Corey Holmes, a male in his 30s.

At approximately 2:36 p.m. on Monday, March 1, officers responded to the 2200 block of N. 26th Street for the report of     a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult male inside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
