Reward Offered by Family of Homicide Victim

A $2,000 reward is being offered by the family of homicide victim Jeremiah Darden to try to encourage those with knowledge of the shooting to provide information.

Darden was shot and killed in September 2020 while walking in the 00 block of East Blake Lane. He was alone when one suspect, began to open fire, striking Darden several times.

The family of Jeremiah Darden has continued to partner with The Richmond Police Department as we investigate the homicide of their loved one. The family has offered the $2,000 reward in hopes that someone will provide information that will lead to a conviction for the murder.

The lead detective and Jeremiah Darden’s father, Mustafa Darden, are available for interviews. Contact RPD Public Affairs at (804) 646-0607.
