The Belvidere Street Bridge which crosses
over the Downtown Expressway will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, June 22 to 6
a.m. on Monday, June 25 for deck rehabilitation. There will be alternating lane
closures in both directions.
To increase awareness and safety, traffic
control signs will be placed prior to entering the bridge.
The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation
Authority and the Richmond Police Department would like to remind motorists to
pay attention to signage and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
Road work in this area will be weather
permitting.
