At approximately 12:23 p.m., Richmond Police officers were called to the 1600 block of Robin Hood Road for the report of a suspicious situation inside a motel room. Officers arrived and located an adult female with a life-threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Detectives are currently on scene and an investigation is underway.
