Victim Identified in Walmsley Boulevard Homicide
Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide on Walmsley Boulevard on Saturday as Elijah Johnson, 23, of Richmond.
Saturday, March 18th, at approximately 4:18 p.m., Richmond Police officers responded to the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard for the report of a shooting. Once on scene officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
