St. John Street Aggravated Assault and Homicide
Investigation
This morning, at approximately 12:21 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of St. John Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found an adult male and a juvenile male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The adult male's injuries were considered non-life-threatening. The juvenile, 16 years old, of Richmond later succumbed to his injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
