Identified in West Baker Street Death Investigation

detectives have identified the victim in the death investigation on West Baker
Street as Marshall Fields, III, 41, of Richmond.
At approximately 2:56 p.m., August 30, officers were called to the 00 block of West Baker Street for the report of a trouble unknown. While officers were on their way to this location, the call was upgraded to a person stabbed. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Fields, down inside the building, with an apparent stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
