Fatal Pedestrian Collision Under Investigation on Green Acres Avenue
The Richmond Police Department Crash Team is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in the 100 block of Green Acres Avenue.
At approximately 5:53 p.m., Friday, December 19, a call for service was received for a male lying in the grass near the 100 block Green Acres Avenue. An adult male was located down on the ground unresponsive. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The RPD Crash Team responded to the scene and determined that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound in the 100 block of Green Acres Avenue. This investigation continues.
