Victim Identified in Hull Street Death Investigation,
Aggravated Assault
Yesterday, at approximately 2:13 a.m., Richmond Police
officers responded to the 3400 block of Hull Street for the
report of a shooting.
Once on scene, officers located an adult male Alphonso
Satchell, 47, of Richmond, down on the ground suffering from an apparent
gunshot wound. Satchell was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second adult male arrived at a local hospital shortly
afterward in a private vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. His
injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives have determined the two incidents are related, and
the investigation remains ongoing.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of
death.
