Just after 2:00 a.m. today a Richmond Police Department vehicle was involved in a three-car collision in the intersection of South Ninth and East Canal streets.
A Chevrolet Blazer and a Toyota 4 Runner were the other vehicles involved.
Richmond Ambulance Services treated two people for minor injuries at the scene. The Department officer was not injured.
The accident is under investigation.
