The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early this morning on Hull Street.
At approximately 12:59 a.m., a motorcycle traveling
westbound on Hull Street crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on
with a utility pole near the intersection of East 1st Street. The
driver, John R. Bishop, 52, of the 5000 block of Oriole Avenue in North
Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
