RPD Seeks Public’s Assistance to Locate Homicide Victim’s Vehicle

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a stolen vehicle belonging to the victim of the homicide on Erich Road that occurred earlier this week.

At approximately 11:37 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, officers responded to the 100 block of Erich Road for the report of a person down. Once on scene, they located Ricky G. Seldon suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Detectives are working to find Seldon’s dark gray 2009 Infiniti QX56, which has been reported as stolen. The Virginia license plate is JCF8VR. Attached is a stock photo of the vehicle.

If you see the vehicle parked and unoccupied, call the RPD non-emergency line at (804)646-5100. If you observe the vehicle moving, call 911 as the occupants should be considered armed and dangerous.
