Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in a homicide that occurred on Chamberlayne Avenue as Estelle D. Pugh, a female in her 60s.
At approximately 8:22 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, officers were called to an apartment in the 3600 block of Chamberlayne Avenue for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and located Estelle Pugh suffering from trauma. She was pronounced on scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the exact case and manner of death.
