The Richmond Police Department Crash Team has identified the driver in this morning’s fatal single-vehicle crash on State Route VA-195 as Katlynn Nevin, a female in her twenties.
At approximately 5:53 a.m., investigators with the RPD Crash Team were called to the westbound lanes of the roadway segment, which connects the Downtown Expressway with I-195, for the report of the crash. Investigators determined the vehicle, driven by Nevin and the sole occupant, exited the travel lanes of the roadway to the left, rode up an embankment and struck a tree. Nevin was pronounced dead at the scene.
