Victim Identified in Mosby Street Homicide Investigation

                              

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the Mosby Street homicide investigation as Elwood Robinson, Jr., 40, of Richmond.

At approximately 10:47 p.m., Friday, July 18, officers were called to the 600 block of Mosby Street for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and located an adult male, Robinson, down on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
