Victim Identified in Rosecrest Avenue Homicide Investigation
Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the Rosecrest Avenue homicide investigation as Teresa Jackson, 64, of Richmond.
Yesterday at approximately 7:41 a.m., officers were called to the 1600 block of Rosecrest Avenue for a welfare check. Officers arrived and located an adult female, Jackson, inside the residence, down and unresponsive, having suffered an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
