The Richmond
Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred this
afternoon in the east end of the city.
At approximately
4:23 p.m., officers were called to the 1500 block of North 21st Street
for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found an adult male in a
parking lot who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a
local hospital where he succumbed to his injury.
