Suspect Sought in Commercial Robbery on Forest Hill Avenue

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the individual in the attached photos, who is the suspect in a commercial robbery that occurred last week.

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Friday, April 24, an officer responded to a business in the 4800 block of Forest Hill Avenue for the report of a robbery that just occurred.  An unknown male suspect walked inside and acted like he was going to purchase two cigars.  The suspect then gave the clerk a handwritten note, which read “All I want is the money, I don’t want to hurt you”, before walking behind the counter and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.  He then walked out the front door in an unknown direction. 

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark blue coat, white pants with black markings, dark shoes, and a black cloth around his face.
