Police detectives have identified the victim of yesterday’s homicide as Angela
M. Rector, 30, of Richmond.
At
approximately 9:15 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to the 3200 block of P
Street for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Angela
M. Rector suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local
hospital with life threatening injuries. She died of her injuries shortly
after.
The
Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause and manner of death.
