May 28, 2020 Richmond Police Major Crimes
detectives, with the help of the First Precinct Focus Mission Team (FMT), have
made two arrests in connection to last month’s homicide on P Street.
Indictments were served yesterday on
the following individuals:
1.Trevon A. Humes, 27, of Richmond has been
charged with First-Degree Murder 2.Dennis S. Jones, 56, of Richmond has been
charged with First-Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a
Felony

At approximately 9:15 p.m. on April 4, officers
responded to the 3200 block of P Street for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found Angela M. Rector, 30, of Richmond
suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital with
life-threatening injuries. She died of her injuries shortly after.
