Victim Identified, Arrest Made in West Marshall Street Homicide

The victim of a November 4th life-threatening shooting has died.  Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim as Q Kharia Wilkerson, 22, of Richmond.

At approximately 10:49 p.m., November 4, officers were called to the 1400 block of West Marshall Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found an adult female, Wilkerson, down and unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on November 30th.

The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

Detectives arrested an adult male, Marques Husband, 28, of Richmond. Husband was arrested for malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and abduction. Additional charges are pending. The booking photo for Husband is attached.

Detectives believe this was domestic related.
