Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in a homicide that occurred last month on Cheatwood Avenue as Nathaniel Trapp, 41, of Richmond.
At approximately 10:59 p.m. November 14, Richmond Police responded to the 800 block of Cheatwood Avenue for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located an adult male, Trapp, with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
