Victim Identified in Broad Rock Boulevard Homicide Investigation                                      

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide on Broad Rock Boulevard as Angelica Arana-Roche, 44, of Richmond.

At approximately 2:42 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, officers were called to the 2100 block of Broad Rock Boulevard for the report of a person down. Once on scene, officers located an adult female, Arana-Roche, down in a wooded area. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Hull Street Fatal Collision Investigation

Hull Street Fatal Collision Investigation

The Richmond Police Department Crash Team is investigating the fatal collision involving two vehicles that occurred on Hull Street this morning.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., officers were called to a collision in the 00 block of Hull Street. A vehicle being operated at a high rate of speed southbound collided with a vehicle traveling in the northbound lane.

One of the drivers, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but later succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation continues.

Victim Identified in Fairfield Avenue Homicide

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide on Fairfield Avenue yesterday as Keyonna Ford, 28, of Richmond.

Yesterday at approximately 2:42 p.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and located an adult female, Ford, in a residence down with an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital where yesterday she succumbed to her injury.

Detectives with the Major Crimes division are investigating.

Riverside Drive Death Investigation

Yesterday at approximately 6:03 p.m., officers were called to the 5000 block of Riverside Drive for the report of a person down in the James River, just upriver from the Boulevard Bridge. Officers, along with the Richmond Fire Department, and emergency medical personnel, located an adult male lying on a rock/concrete pad approximately 20 yards from the riverbank on the south side of the river.  He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
