The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of this afternoon’s homicide on Melmark Court as Rolando D. Williams Jr., 24, of Richmond.
At approximately
12:46 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Melmark Court for the
report of a person shot. When police arrived they located Rolando D.
Williams Jr. suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound. He was
transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Medical
Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
