Arrest made in North Jefferson Street Homicide and Aggravated Assault Victim of Homicide Identified

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in last Friday’s homicide on North Jefferson Street as Natalie Simmons-Price, 60, of Richmond.

At approximately 12:52 p.m., on October 8, officers were called to the 100 block of North Jefferson Street for the report of a stabbing. Officers arrived and found two adult females in a structure who were suffering from stab wounds. They were both transported to a local hospital with injuries that were considered life threatening. One victim, Simmons, succumbed to her wounds at the hospital.

The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

The offender, Quincy Rawlings, 53, of Richmond was charged with Malicious Wounding and Stabbing during the commission of a felony. Additional charges are pending. His booking photo is attached.
