Driver and Vehicle Sought in Walmsley Boulevard Hit and Run

Richmond Police Hit and Run investigators are seeking information about a driver and vehicle which struck and injured a pedestrian last week before leaving the scene.

At approximately 5 p.m., on Saturday, October 16, officers were called to the 3600 block of Walmsley Boulevard for the report of a hit and run. Officers arrived and found an adult male who reported he was walking eastbound alongside Walmsley Boulevard when he was struck by a van that was traveling eastbound on Walmsley Boulevard. The van did not stop at the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.

The vehicle was described as a work van, white in color, with ladders attached. The van was last seen heading towards Richmond Highway. A photo of the vehicle is attached.
