Community Walk in Fulton Neighborhood

WHAT:                      Richmond Police Department Community Walk

WHEN:                      Today, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE:                    1200 Admiral Gravely Boulevard

BACKGROUND:        Chief Gerald M. Smith, RPD Command Staff and other Richmond Police Officers will walk and talk with neighbors in Richmond’s Fulton Apartments (formerly known as Rainbow Village). During the walk, officers will visit with community members about safety concerns and hear their input.

Additionally, RPD will distribute helpful information to protect neighbors from property theft and theft from motor vehicles, as well as providing resources to connect underserved populations to critical wrap-around services available within our community.

This event is the latest in a series of community walks hosted by the Richmond Police Department in neighborhoods throughout the city for the purpose of connecting with and listening to members of the community while educating the public on crime prevention.
