Victim Identified in Jennie Scher Road Homicide Investigation
At approximately 10:45 p.m., Saturday, February 15, officers were called to the 1300 block of Jennie Scher Road for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found an adult female, identified as Jaelyn Barham-Wooden, 20, of Dinwiddie, inside an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
