Fairfield Avenue Death Investigation
Today at approximately 7:28 a.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Fairfield Avenue for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and located an adult male, down and unresponsive on a sidewalk. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Several vehicles at the location were damaged by gunfire. There were no other injuries.
