Arrest Made in Coalter
Street Homicide Investigation
Richmond Police detectives have made an arrest in the April
2024 homicide that occurred on Coalter Street.
After
serving time in Georgia on unrelated charges, Daivion White, 20, of Richmond,
was charged with first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of
a felony in relation to the homicide of Robert Joseph, 25, of Richmond. His booking photo is attached.
At
approximately 11:31 a.m., April 17, 2024, officers were called to the 1300
block of Coalter Street for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived
and found an adult male, Joseph, down on the ground with an apparent gunshot
wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his
injuries.
