Decatur Street Homicide
Yesterday at approximately 6:08 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of East 11th and Hull streets for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found a juvenile male down and unresponsive in the intersection. The male, 15, of Richmond, had suffered apparent gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital where yesterday he succumbed to his injuries.
Major Crimes detectives are investigating and have determined the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Decatur Street. The investigation continues.
