The PAL Boxing Team won two state championships and the Tournament Outstanding Novice Boxer Award at the 2011 USA Boxing Virginia State Senior Amateur Boxing Championship finals last month in Newport News, Va.
Established in May 2010, the PAL Boxing Team boasts 30 boxers and has four coaches who work with the athletes weekly.
