Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim of yesterday
morning’s homicide on Cliff Avenue as Ronald D. Cosby Jr., 22, of the 2800
block of Fendall Avenue.
At approximately 9:11 a.m. yesterday, officers received a call for a
report of a vehicle parked in an alley on the even side of the 3200 block of
Cliff Avenue. When officers arrived, they found Ronald Cosby Jr.
inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at
the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
