Victim Identified in North 19th
Street Homicide Investigation
Richmond Police
detectives have identified the victim in the fatal shooting last night as Henry
James, 50, of Richmond.
Last night at
approximately 8:45 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of North 19th
Street in response to a report of trouble unknown. Officers arrived and
located an adult male, James, down and suffering from an apparent gunshot
wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his
injuries.
Detectives are continuing to investigate this homicide and ask anyone with information about this
