Narcotics Investigators Make Good Arrests and Seizures

After undercover investigation, Richmond Police narcotics investigators searched a home Wednesday and arrested two people after finding a large amount of drugs, cash and guns.

Just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, investigators entered a home in the 1700 block of West Moore Street. There they found and seized:

- four handguns

- approximately 10 pounds of marijuana,

- $33,010,

- flat screen TV,

- laptop computer,

- digital scales,

- documents, and

- a surveillance system

Homeowner Troy A. Beckett, 40, of the 1700 block of West Moore Street, has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with a firearm.

Kenyan A. Thompson, 32, of Brooklyn, New York, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
