In the past few weeks, First, Second, Third and Fourth Precinct officers have coordinated several prostitution sting operations to address complaints of prostitution from the community and help improve the quality of life.
Officers arrested 21 women and 13 men, throughout the city. Individuals were charged with misdemeanor prostitution and/or soliciting a prostitute, drug possession and one man, a minister from New Jersey, was also charged with felony child endangerment for having a 2-year-old child with him at the time. One woman was even arrested twice.
Prostitution and prostitution-related crimes hurt the quality of life for those who live and work in the areas where these incidents occur and draw other crimes to the area as well. The Richmond Police Department conducts these types of operations periodically throughout the city as a way to deter the crime, address prostitution complaints and improve the quality of life. We publish the offenders’ information and mugshots as a deterrent.
Arrested on Feb. 23 and Feb. 24 were:
1. Greta L. Miles, 45, was arrested and charged with prostitution near North 21st and V streets
2. Delores Atkinson, 32, of the 2200 block of McDonough Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Perdue and Maury streets
3. Christina Davis, 29, of the 3600 block of King George Court, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 2000 block of Gordon Avenue
4. Kadiatou Maiga-Kvirikadze, 40, of the 800 block of Newkirk Drive, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Ruffin Road and Columbia Street
5. Avis Malone, 42, of the 1900 block of Bainbridge Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution near 20th and Hull streets
6. Teresa Torain, 43, of the 1700 block of Gross Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 2800 Decatur Street
Arrested on Feb. 28 and Feb. 29 were:
1. Tracy West, 40, of the 300 block of West 26th Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 3000 block of Hull Street Road
2. Christina Davis, 29, of the 3600 block of King George Court, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Boston Avenue and Jefferson Davis Highway
3. Georgia Frazier, 49, of the 3100 block of Snead Court, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 2700 block of Hull Street Road
4. Melissa St.Onge-Cole, 44, of Chester, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Sisco Avenue and Jefferson Davis Highway
5. Andrea Collins, 38, of the 2300 block of Decatur Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 2000 block of Decatur Street
6. Donna Harrington, 50, of the 4200 block of Lynhaven Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Courtland Avenue and Jefferson Davis Highway
7. Chevelle Hall, 45, of the 2300 block of Ambrose Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 00 block of East 29th Street
8. Maysheka Clanton, 19, of Glen Allen, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Brook Road and West Brook Road.
9. Ann Johnson, 50, of the 3000 block of Novel Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 900 block of Westbrook Avenue
10. Shanora Willoughby, 20, of the 3000 block of Novel Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution near North Avenue and Dore Street
11. Denise Lewis, 43, of the 1000 block of Azalea Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 3900 block of Chamberlayne Ave
12. Franchetta Lewis, 44, of the 1000 block of Azalea Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 3900 block of Seminary Avenue
13. Renee Thompson, 34, of the 5900 block of Westower Drive, was arrested and charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana in the 1600 block of Monteiro Street
14. Cathy Teller, 48, of the 200 block of West Marshall Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution in the 3500 block of Chamberlayne Avenue
15. Pinetta Fleming, 40, of the 1700 block of Monteiro Street, was arrested and charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana near Welford and Monteiro streets
16. Shirley McCoy, 62, of the 3900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue, was arrested and charged with prostitution near Bellevue and Chamberlayne avenues
On March 1 in the 4300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway:
1. Phillip Cooley, 66, of Gum Spring, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
2. Eddie Robertson, 47, of the 2300 block of Hull Street, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
3. Jovan White, 33, of the 4300 block of Hillbrook Avenue, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
4. Frederick Black, Jr., 38, of Chesterfield, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
5. Elvis Edwards, 36, of Petersburg, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
6. Manuel Portillo-Merlos, 26, of the 2700 block of Berry Road, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
7. Ricardo Hinojosa-Gonzalez, 34, of the 3400 block of Kensington Avenue, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
8. Shane Lane, 26, of Milford, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
On March 9 in the 6500 block of Midlothian Turnpike:
1. Oscar A. Roman-Tatul, 24, of the 1500 block of Tifton Court, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
2. Rolando C. Sis, 29, of the 1500 block of Clarkson Road, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
3. Jeremy Taylor, 24, of Chesterfield, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
4. Manuel Romero, 27, of the 3000 block of Snead Road, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution
5. Robert Franco Jr., 30, of Medford, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution and felony child endangerment
