Richmond Police officers from Second Precinct arrived within a minute of the call and found three persons with gunshot wounds. They were taken to VCU Medical Center, where one of them, Orlando J. Shaw, 19, later died. The other two persons’ injuries are not life threatening.

The initial investigation indicates the shooting resulted from a confrontation and argument among four people, including Shaw, who lived on Bonmark Drive.

Three people are charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Shaw. They are: Jewel Wiggins, 19; Maria Y. Wiggins, 41; and Antonio A. Fountain, 32, of the 5900 block of Warwick Road.
