Business Watch Promotes Proactive Commerce Safety

BACKGROUND:

In an effort to assist local business owners in better protecting their commercial property, employees and patrons, the Richmond Police Department’s Community Care Crime Prevention Team will host a Business Watch Forum on crime prevention strategies.

Richmond Police and area loss prevention specialists will provide details for business owners to harden themselves as a target for robbers, burglars and shoplifters. Officers also will have information for delivery drivers who conduct business at various hours and locations throughout the city.
