Bowtie Theater Robbery Arrest

Richmond Police detectives can now release the name of the man arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a city movie theater earlier this month.

At approximately 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, three unknown males robbed the two employees inside the movie theater at 1301 N. Blvd. after the theater had closed for the night.

Anthony K. Gregory, 23, of the 5400 block of Pippin Lane, was arrested by patrol officers that night and detectives later charged him with robbery and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.


This investigation remains ongoing and detectives are asking anyone with any information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous.
