The Richmond
Police Department has identified the victim of last week’s homicide on Broad
Rock Boulevard as Edwin D. Gonzales-Urbina, 27, of the 600 block of Warwick
Road.
At approximately
10:54 pm on Thursday, February 14, officers received a call after Gonzales-Urbina
arrived at a local hospital suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Detectives determined the shooting incident occurred in the 3100 block of Broad
Rock Boulevard. Gonzales-Urbina succumbed to his injuries several hours
later.
The Medical
Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
