Victims Identified in St. Paul Street Homicide, Death Investigation
Richmond Police detectives have identified the two males who died after they were shot in an incident on St. Paul Street last month as Tyreese Robinson, 30, of Richmond, and Terry Brown, Jr., 25, of Richmond.
Detectives are investigating the shootings which led to both individuals succumbing to their injuries at a local hospital. Detectives have determined Brown, Jr. shot Robinson, making Robinson the third homicide victim in Richmond in 2023. Immediately after Robinson was shot, Brown Jr. was shot and individuals who were present fled the area.
At approximately 3:10 p.m., Friday, January 27, Richmond Police officers responded to the 1300 block of St. Paul Street after hearing gunfire in the area. They located one adult male, Brown Jr., with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. A second adult male, Robinson, arrived at the hospital also suffering from a gunshot wound.
The investigation continues.
