Arrests Made in Midlothian Turnpike Homicide of 16-Year-Old
Richmond Police detectives have
made arrests in the Midlothian Turnpike homicide investigation of a 16-year-old
male that occurred Saturday.
Detectives arrested two persons
today in connection with this incident. A juvenile male, 17, of Richmond,
has been charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony,
and conspiracy to commit murder. Kareem Clyburn, 32, of Henrico, was
charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A booking photo of

At approximately 10:05 p.m.,
Saturday, September 14, officers responded to the 4000 block of
Midlothian Turnpike after hearing gunfire. They located three individuals
who had suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Two adult females were transported to
local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The third victim, a
juvenile male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
