Male Identified in Walmsley Boulevard Death Investigation
Richmond
Police detectives have identified the male who was transported to a local
hospital by personal vehicle following a shooting on Wednesday.
At approximately 11:48 p.m., on Wednesday,
December 18, officers were called to Chippenham Hospital after an
unknown driver dropped off the male before leaving the area.
The male, John Kelson, Jr., 18, of Richmond,
had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead by medical
personnel shortly after arrival.
Detectives have determined the shooting occurred
in the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard and are investigating.
