Richmond Police detectives have arrested one man in connection with two shootings on Christmas Eve.
Just before 2 a.m. on Dec. 24, a 20-year-old man was shot in the 1300 block of Coalter Street by an unknown male. Thanks to detectives’ good investigation, a suspect was quickly identified and further evidence was recovered linking the suspect to another shooting of a 33-year-old man that occurred the same day at approximately 12:45 p.m. in the 2000 block of Fairfield Way.
The suspect—a 15-year-old male—has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of robbery and three counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony.
